Our American Spoon Cafe is located at 413 East Lake Street on Pennsylvania Park (next door to the original American Spoon Store). There you can enjoy a wonderful selection of breakfast and lunch fare. You may also enjoy Chef Paul Ramey's weekly creations featuring American Spoon Foods artisanal products. It is also the perfect place for simple Cappucino or Espresso. While there, you simply cannot pass up the opportunity to enjoy American Spoon's own Gelato & Sorbetto hand made on site.

Over 24 flavors of our authentic, all-natural gelato and sorbetto are made in 4 gallon batches right here on the premises using the finest ingredients we can find and no stabilizers, emulsifiers, artificial colorings or preservatives. Its satisfying, silky richness results from fine, densely packed crystals that hold a lot less air than American ice cream. Save room for a cup of gelato combining your favorite flavors or take home a couple of pints for dessert. And don’t forget to stop at our store next door to visit our original “tasting table” where you can sample all the flavors of American Spoon.

GELATO
Gelato is the Italian word for ice cream yet gelato is much denser, smoother and richer in flavor. While American ice cream contains 10-20% milkfat, our gelato qualifies as a reduced fat ice cream because it contains 7.5% milkfat or less.

SORBETTOItalian for sorbet, Sorbetto is distinguished by its softer, smoother consistency and it’s refreshingly pure, bright fruit flavors and aromas. Our Sorbettos are mostly fruit, with sugar and water, and less than 1% fat.
